Dojiva Retreats

Give yourself the space and time to immerse in physical presence and transformation.

Dojiva retreats acknowledge that with the right focus, much change can happen over a relatively short period of time.

Within our retreats, we help people practice a deeper connection to their mind and body. This practice of self-understanding opens up opportunities for new levels of fitness, postural integrity and movement ease.

Most of our retreats combine group and private sessions. During group classes we focus on individual attention by having two instructors in the room.

The ‘in-spa’ retreats last three to five days at quality spas throughout the world (venues tbc). Clients attend specially designed group classes and may sign up for private sessions. The spa grounds become a part of your transformation as we inspire you to integrate the lessons you learn into lifestyle changes.

The ‘in-town’ retreats involve staying at home and visiting local venues for classes and private sessions. These retreats are offered as weekend intensives or are spread out over a two/three week period. During these periods you are also given homework exercises to bring your new practices into your daily life.

Dojiva Fitness Retreat

Take your physical fitness to the next level with the retreat that focuses on your specific goals. We focus on the Aston-Patterning® approach to body therapy which considers each person as an individual with unique needs for improved postural alignment, increased muscle tone, and decreased tension. Coordinating fitness training, Aston® Pilates and movement education with massage and bodywork, this intensive week can offer you a new way of understanding how your body moves and how you can better achieve future goals. Whether you want an educated jump start into a new fitness regime or you are an athlete wanting to focus on specific body mechanics for efficiency in your sport, this retreat can help you on your way.

Dojiva Restorative Fitness Retreat

This retreat blends movement education and fitness with spiraling massage and bodywork to help you restore vitality in your everyday movement function. Activities such as walking, standing, sitting, stair-walking, reaching, bending and lifting can become not only easier but fun and regenerative. When the body starts to complain during these ‘simple’ movements, we are quick to blame age, gravity or injuries as if it is inevitable that we have to lose the spring in our step. This retreat is designed for those who want to gain relief from joint pain, fatigue, or injury. Find how Aston-Patterning® techniques can help you move more easily and discover movement mechanics that will support you today and into the future.


Dojiva Face Balancing Retreat

Where does your true expression reside? Everyone has an inner beauty, yet over time we often develop holding patterns that leave us with tension, posture and movement that does not seem to match who we really are inside. The Face Balancing retreat is a way to regain and reconnect with your natural beauty. Although the focus is on Aston® facial toning exercises and facial massage, the whole body is addressed allowing the physical expression to match your facial expression.
