Our group classes are inspired by Pilates, fitness, yoga, dance, martial arts, meditation, breath focus and anatomical education.
Dedicated to the development and expression of the individual, these classes bring an inspiring twist to traditional approaches to exercise.
Dojiva classes are designed to help you to heighten your sense of physical awareness. We work with movement principles instead of a set of rules. This way the changes you make are more sustainable to who you are.
By working with small groups Dojiva classes welcome all ages and abilities. Even if you have an old injury or a current back/hip/neck condition you are welcome to attend. Please contact us in advance to see if an initial private session is advised.
Classes vary every week, but usually include a combination of dumb-bells, stretch bands, bosus, gym balls, medicine balls, stretching, balancing, relaxation and Aston ® Pilates. Occasionally we increase the tempo with a ‘bosu’ circuit for all-around muscular strength and endurance,
